One of his great-cousins (from 400 years prior) was in a similar situation and became duke of the town. Lincoln tries to follow in those footsteps to seek attention and praise from the townspeople, but he soon realizes there's more to being a duke than just fame and fortune. After a hectic trip that involves riding in the cargo load of an airplane, parachuting into France, flying in a hot air balloon, and landing in the ocean to hitch a ride in a submarine ("Now or Never"), the family finally arrives in Scotland. As they exit the sub to look around, Lori tries to call Bobby about it, but the reception becomes distorted, causing Bobby to think that Lori is saying she's breaking up with him. With some encouragement from Ronnie Anne, Bobby decides to go to Scotland himself to reunite with Lori. Morag and Lela trap Louds and Angus in a corner, and Morag orders Lela to fire her breath at them to kill them off for good.
Graphic novel series
Nickelodeon and its YouTube channel have done a series of podcasts called Listen Out Loud, where each member of the Loud family does a podcast revolving around their topics. Kenya's film and classification board (KFCB) has called for the suspension of several US-produced children's programs running on channels provided by TV company MultiChoice. The board said the cartoons featured "disturbing content glorifying homosexual behavior" which was not suitable for children. The series debuted on Nickelodeon on May 2, 2016, with new episodes premiering every weekday that month.[21] The first trailer for the series premiered on March 13, 2016.[22] The series also aired on AFN Family.

As the Louds enter the Scottish town, they find the place is full of oddities, like a door built much higher than the sidewalk, the signs being too jumbled to be comprehended, and a small bell being used in the bell tower. Eventually, they meet a man named Angus, who explains to them that they're in the town of Loch Loud, which is named after their ancestors from 400 years ago ("This Town Is Named for You"). Angus then brings the Louds to the castle once owned by their ancestors, where he works as the groundskeeper. He also introduces them to Morag, the castle's caretaker, who is not at all pleased with the Louds' presence. Angus then shows the Louds a painting of their ancestors, who looked exactly like them (one son and ten daughters). After taking a tour of the castle and seeing that there's enough bedrooms for everyone, Lincoln learns that the ancestor he himself resembles, referred to only as the Duke, was the most special member of the family.

Lela, having caught the crown with her tail, hands it to Lincoln and the crowd anticipates the moment he puts it on so he can resume his duties as the duke. Lincoln, after some postulating, gives a speech to everyone by telling them that he originally wanted to be the duke as it would mean he would get to feel as special as his sisters, but realized that he was only thinking about himself and not the others. He goes on to say that Angus has constantly reminded him what it truly means to wear the crown, and that's why he's appointing him as the new Duke. Angus initially declines the offer, believing he's just a simple groundskeeper, but after being told by the citizens just how much he does for the town and with the blessings of the ghosts of the ancestors, Angus agrees to take on the new role and Lincoln places the crown on his head. The moment he's crowned, Lela, angry over Morag controlling her in an attempt to kill her masters, scoops the deranged former duchess and drops her off on a small rock island far away from Loch Loud.
This causes the citizen to tell them that they're in the town of Loch Loud, which is named after their ancestors some 400 years ago. After he and the rest of the citizens explain their history ("This Town Is Named for You"), he guides them to the castle where their ancestors once lived. Once they arrive, the citizen introduces himself as Angus, the Loch Loud groundskeeper, and once they enter the castle, they meet Morag, the castle's caretaker. Lincoln asks Angus if he knows any more info about their ancestors, and he proceeds to show them a painting of their ancestors, which looks exactly like the Loud family (one son and ten daughters). As the parents and sisters proceed to look around the castle, Lincoln asks if the sisters in the painting were special, and Angus agrees, but before he could explain further, the sisters tell Lincoln to come look at what they found. Arriving to a hallway, he discovers that each of the sisters has their own bedroom, complete with a working toilet.

Instead of taking out his frustrations on his sisters, he looks for ways to find his own talents. With some encouragement from his best friend (who is a talented baker), Lincoln decides to convince his family to take an international vacation to learn more about their family. But when chaos ensues, his family has his back to pick up the pieces and help rebuild. Morag, gleeful that she has successfully exiled the Louds, proceeds to burn Aggie's journal in the fireplace to remove any evidence of her wrongdoings. Unbeknownst to her, however, Lucille retrieves the journal and, looking through it, learns that Aggie betrayed the family. Outside the castle, Morag tells the villagers that, before the Louds left, they said that she should be the duchess of Loch Loud, and promptly has herself crowned.

However, Paramount removed the film from their schedule for unknown reasons in January 2019, but Netflix will be debuting the film on August 20, 2021. A television film was premiere on the Nickelodeon on the New York City called "A Loud House Christmas" released in December 2021. With Lincoln's assistance, the sisters all manage to make it to their respective activities. Later that evening, as the Louds are celebrating at Lynn's Table, everyone recognizes the sisters and quickly run up to them to see them.
Lynn Sr. immediately approves of this decision, but the girls are unconvinced, mainly because they know that Lincoln only wants this to be in a position of power, and because they have lives in Royal Woods regarding their friends and school. Realizing he's outnumbered, Lincoln feigns sadness by lamenting that they can go back home once their vacation ends, "to our house with one bathroom." This one comment alone horrifies the family to the point that they immediately change their mind and decide to move to Scotland. Entering the cave behind the waterfall in the courtyard, Angus tells the two girls that the reason why dragons are celebrated in Loch Loud was because their ancestors had a pet dragon, and before they left, their dragon gave birth to a new one, ready to hatch when the new Louds would arrive. Reaching the end of the cave, they encounter a dragon egg, and when Angus goes to inspect it, he discovers that it hatched.
Suddenly, Lincoln witnesses Lily approaching, and proceeds to stall Morag by telling her that he's actually a talented magician, as he begins showing off some of his magic tricks. Morag, after lamenting that all she ever wanted was peace and quiet, reaches her wit's end and proceeds to fight the crown out of Lincoln's hands. However, during their scuffle, the three accidentally fall off the cliff, about to plunge into the waters below them. As Lincoln and Lily embrace themselves for impact, Lela swiftly catches them (on her back) and Morag (with her claws) and flies them back at the castle, where the Louds and Angus witness their arrival.
Lincoln, really, really, really wants to be as extraordinary as his sisters all seem to be. But through the course of the film, he gradually learns that it’s OK when your siblings land in the spotlight of public attention more than you do (especially if they deserve it). Supporting, organizing, and encouraging are all very important and incredibly helpful activities, too.
The Loud House Movie is an animated musical comedy film based on the Nickelodeon animated series The Loud House. After helping repair the village, the Loud family says goodbye to Angus and the villagers and sets sail back home to Royal Woods. It ranges from dirty diaper splats to giggles over smelly athletic supporters and the like. And one sister, Lucy, who’s obsessed with death and darkness, stirs up the ghosts of her deceased Loud ancestors.
But soon, as Lincoln is riding Lela and showing off some tricks to the people, Morag, hiding in an alley, places the Dragon Stone into the royal scepter. Lela, now under the gem's power, begins recklessly flying in whichever direction Morag moves the scepter, which Lincoln can't control. This gets the townsfolk to furiously turn against Lincoln, angrily chewing him out for wrecking the town, making him run away crying. As his concerned family follows him, Morag takes the gemstone out of the royal scepter, causing Lela to revert back to normal and fly away in shame. Lincoln's family and Angus try to cheer him up, offering to help him rebuild the town, but Lincoln sorrowfully decides he doesn't deserve to be the duke and relinquishes the crown, asking his family if they can go home now. Landing in the courtyard, the Louds thank Lela for saving Lincoln and Lily, and the citizens arrive, thanking the Louds for saving their home and apologizing to Lincoln for doubting him.
